The apartment house "Ostbacher Stern" is in a sunny and quiet location with good connections to hiking paths and cross country skiing runs. Leutasch is 4 km away from Seefeld and 6 km from Mittenwald. There are 11 comfortable apartments from 38 m² to 100 m² with either a balcony or a terrace in the house. There is also a sauna, a steam bath and a infrared carbine. The location is ideal for excursions to Garmisch 35 km, Innsbruck 30 km, south Tirol 80 km and Munich 100 km, to name just a few. The sports activities are suited for beginners as well as for professionals, the area is best suited for hiking, skiing and cycling!

During summer our guests are freed from charge for the alpine swimming bath with giant water slide!

The living room is comfortably furnished. The large amount of wood and the Tyrolean style makes it very cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave and oven. There is dinnerware for 6 people. You wont miss a thing.

Leutasch is the biggest cross-country skiing centre in Europe. A valley in the untouched nature of the Alps - ideal for skiing and hiking. The nicest hiking paradise between the Karawedel and the Wetterstein mountains! The particular attraction of the Leutasch valley is its breathtaking landscape.

A summer in the Olympic region of Seefeld

There are mountain bike paths for beginners and experts. Racing cyclists can enjoy almost traffic free round tours.Leutasch offers you 450 km of hiking paths with 2420 rest benches, so hikers will have everything they wish for.

Hikers as well as climbers will find the mountain routes of their needs in our mountain paradise!

From the summer 2007 onwards we are also a paradise for joggers as well as Nordic walkers. There are 100 km of sign posted routes in all sorts of levels of difficulty. The cultural events are not to be overlooked! In the region, within 70 km, you will find numerous museums, chateaus and landmarks. There are always events in the region, which are worth a visit.

During summer the hikers will discover 450 km of hiking paths with 20 mountain pubs.

During Winter and Summer

In winter there are 95 km of hiking paths prepared for safe hiking. The daily prepared cross country skiing routes of 240 km have all the right to be called the largest cross country skiing area in the Alps. Enjoy your stay in the valley of Leutasch!
